We truly discover what we’re actually capable of when we go through challenging times. If it weren’t for the challenges and trials, we would never discover just how much strength and endurance God had given us. The opportunities the Lord had presented us with during the most challenging year yet have surpassed the limitations we found ourselves under.
It seemed as though God himself was laying down a challenge — the more Covid-19 restrictions and limitations we faced here in Israel—the more He propelled our ministry work forward, opening new doors, reshaping and readjusting our strategies, while expanding our reach in the process.
We have been able to reach many people in great need during this time and we couldn’t even begin to describe the overwhelming feeling of gratitude from so many who have been affected during this pandemic. Many would never have imagined they would depend on others to bring them food, so that they would have something to feed their children with.
Through the grace of God we have been able to supply the needy with food baskets, house and kitchen supplies, and appliances. Among these precious ones are new Jewish immigrants, the sick, the rejected, and the poor. The more we seemed to give out, the more evident God’s grace became to us. We realized deeply that kindness and generosity touch and transform both the giver and the receiver!
We here at Beit Immanuel are so grateful to each and every one of you who have been standing with us in seeing to the needs of poverty-stricken Israelis. We love and appreciate you!
