The Lord has recently provided us with a wonderful opportunity to bless and provide care for a retiree club for ghetto prisoners, elderly immigrants. They are in desperate need of basic humanitarian aid, as well as housekeeping, furniture and appliances for the club, as well as medical care.
It’s such a joy to be connected with these dear ones, and to reach out a helping hand to them, as they have all paid their dues and some of them have suffered much in times of war and during the Nazi regime’s atrocities in Europe.
In the run-up to Christmas we have something special in store for them. We will be organizing a special Christmas music concert for them, along with a delicious banquet to share together in the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior. We will also regularly involve them with our outreach projects, building friendships with them, and praying with them.
In addition the Lord has also opened a door for us to be a blessing to a school for children with special needs. These children require special care at school, and are in need of specialized equipment and educational tools. This particular school has many needs and simply do not have the budget for special and supplementary equipment and tools.
Things like feeding chairs and beds with railings are sorely needed, but cost too much for the school to procure. Their local municipality in the city does not have the budget to support them and special-needs children also do not appear to be a priority to them. As the Lord instructed, we stepped in and supplied equipment to the worth of $10,000 to the school, but there is much more that needs to get done.
If you have a heart for blessing disabled and special-needs children, would you prayerfully consider supporting our efforts at this school financially. Any seed you sow, whether big or small, will make an impact. Thank you for your love and support!
