On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, I had the privilege and honor to serve at a conference in Finland dedicated to the nation of Israel. It was such an awakening to visit this stunningly beautiful country, and to realize that the people there love Israel and the Jewish people dearly.
As I was ministering at the start of the conference, I was experiencing mixed feelings due to the fact that I did not see any reaction from the people in attendance as I shared the Word. But the more I interacted with individuals in person, the more I realized that looks can be deceiving.
Behind the reserved facial expressions lies a strong love for God’s people and the country of Israel. These combinations of “fire and ice” left an indelible impression on my heart. I thank God for these precious people who have come from all over Finland to pray for Israel and to hear the word of God regarding His people.
