Experiencing the Deeper Meaning of Passover

Passover, or Pesach, is one of the most significant and cherished holidays in Jewish tradition. It commemorates the Exodus from Egypt, when God delivered the Israelites from slavery with a mighty hand and outstretched arm. Families gather around the Seder table, retelling the story through symbolic foods, blessings, and the reading of the Haggadah. Each element of the Seder carries deep meaning, reminding us of God’s faithfulness and redemption.

One of the most powerful aspects of the Passover Seder is how it reflects the greater redemption found in Yeshua, the Messiah. Just as the Israelites were saved from physical slavery, Yeshua came to free us from spiritual bondage. The unleavened bread (Matzah), which is without leaven, reminds us of His sinless nature. The Passover lamb, whose blood marked the doorposts of the Israelites, points to Yeshua, the Lamb of God whose sacrifice brings salvation. Even the cup of redemption, one of the four cups of the Seder, mirrors the new covenant in His blood.

An Invitation to Discover the Deeper Meaning of Passover

This year, we are hosting a special Passover Seder, and inviting those who do not yet believe in Yeshua. Through the traditional elements of the Seder, we will highlight how the story of redemption in Exodus beautifully foreshadows the ultimate redemption found in the Messiah. This is a unique opportunity for people to experience the deep traditions of Pesach while discovering the hope of the Gospel in a way that is relevant and meaningful.

We ask for your prayers and support as we prepare for this event. Pray that hearts will be open, that many will come with curiosity and leave with a deeper understanding of God’s love and salvation. If you would like to support this initiative, your partnership is invaluable in helping us share the Good News in Israel.

In this season of Passover, let us also lift up prayers for peace in Israel, for those in need, and for God’s protection over His people. May this time of remembrance be one of renewal, revelation, and deepened faith.
